Yazuyu went back to her mother with the help of Kenpei. SO sad. The ending shows Kenpei as an an adult going to work after saying goodbye to his wife while Yazuyu as a teenager. Both are happy and still close even with Yazuyu living with her mother. She seem to have a boyfriend who was that abused boy she befriended (can't remember the name).
