One person advised the other not to marry cuz she'd end up with a name that sounded like
Philamena's got a fat ram's bottom.
(and Garfield's take on it was that the person was being vain by not wanting that name and she let the vanity win over love)
Kinda like on Meet the Parents when the mom didn't want Pamela to marry Focker cuz she'd end up

Yeah, that other person's right. It's because marrying that other dude would make her name Philomena Scott-Aphat-Ramsbottom (right?) which sounds like Philomena's got a fat rams bottom.

its her name people!! if you read it enough times it sounds like philomenas got a fat rams bottom. thats why garfeild says 'vanity triumps over love once again' cuz she doesnt want a name that sounds like that.
