I want someones opinion on the deathnote ending (may be a spoiler to some)?!
Question: I mean the anime ending. Did you think it was good? Did you wish that they would have shown the world a couple years later like they did in the manga? I thought it was weird how Mikami Teru's chest exploded. Weird.

I thought it was a well deserved end for Light. It was a twist, he thought he would win and would get a new world but Near out-smarted him.
I didn't like Light, I always thought he was a little too cocky, that was basically his end - if he wasn't so arrogant and hadn't said "It's my win" after the 40 seconds, it would not have been a justification that he was in fact Kira to Near.
Ha, I liked the way he died! Matsuda actually shot him - oh well he deserved it - and Ryuk played his part to the end. I'm glad Light died a slow and painful death XD Maybe it taught him that everything he did was wrong.
Although I feel sad for Misa, all she wanted was a normal life and when she finally got it - Light went and died. I assumed that Misa commited suicide by the way the ending went. Another person I didn't want to die was L! He was so crazy, I missed him after he was gone. Lol, even though Mello was a creep - I missed him too and his friend Matt seemed cool as well. Oo, Light killed so many innocent people! >.<
It was satisfying to watch Light die the way he did.
Oo, Mikami's chest part was weird! I mean even if you do stab yourself with a pen - it's not like blood comes spurting out like that. Haha, when I watched it, I was so surprised cause all of a sudden he's screaming and dying.
I liked the Death Note ending, but I would have liked the series to be a little longer....
what a strange twist.....i figured light would kill L and have his new world.............jeeze..........i'm still shocked........
it sucked. i really hated it.
Light going crazy was stupid.
the ending was great but after a few minutes i cried because of the scene where he was like running asking for help ,seeing himself before he received the death note.......hopeless............. i felt sorry for hating him about killing L and ruining L's trust on him! but in the manga, i didn't felt anything, i was just shock and i bit sad but i didn't cry........
i also thought that it was weird when mikami uses his pen to kill himslef resulting to a fountain of blood! (creepy!!!) but i still like the manga i give 10 stars out of 10!!
what i really liked about it was how they showed light going crazy. if i ever had any doubts about whether light was "good" or "evil", that instantly cleared it up- light was a freaking psychopath.
i loved his torturous death. i wish misa would've killed him, that would've been great, but matsuda shooting him was even better. =]
i didn't really realize what was happening with mikami at first, it seemed to me like he was randomly screaming and spurting blood so i had to read the youtube comments to find out lol.
it would've been nice if they'd shown a bit of the future.
