yugioh orig. stinks, it take yugi about 15mins to play a freakin god damn card! and stop with the flashbacks and the "heart of the card talk" G/X is much better.
Pokemon on the other hand is original but its too childish.
but if you're talking about the card game, I'd say pokemon definitely is better. In pokemon, card graphics are much better and the actual game itself is playable. Yugioh on the other hand is way to flexible, for example with 4000 life pts, you can literally finish off ur opponent in one move by attacking their life pts directly.

personally, I hate both, but used to love pokemon when I was younger but not a chance for Yu-Gi-Oh, it's just so stupid!~

In Pokemon,all they do is travel around and win badges and stuff,but the plot in yugihoh is REALLY,REALLY interesting.
