Disney or Studio Ghibli, who makes the best animated movies?!

Studio Ghibli's movies actually have meaning these days. Hayao Miyazaki, who directs a majority of their films, is an artistic genius.
All I've seen from Disney in the last several years has been badly-animated 3D movies and forgettable live-action comedies.

Not sure if I've seen a Studio Ghibli, movie. What have they made?
*Edit* I can't say that I've seen one, considering the fact that you are like the know-all on this subject, I would take your word for it and watch one based on your tip alone.
Pixar makes a lot of Disney movies so i would say Pixar over anyone. OH they made those well those are hard to compare to actually Studio Ghibli made anime and Disney makes cartoons. Ghibli is still great but Pixar is still better so i would say Disney but if Disney didn't have pixar then it would be Studio Ghibli.

The better story teller is Miyazaki san by far... many lessons for the children in his films... and the depth each character possesses is exquisite. However, translating it into english could be improved... I think if they really wanted to convey the identical message the way Miyazaki san had intended... it should not matter whether or not the words follow the mouth movements.

Studio Ghibli definately, their films have meaning and have a wider audience range, while most of the Disney films are for children =)

its movies have MEANING; they're not just designed to sell.
don't get me wrong, i do like disney, but studio ghibli is much better.
