In Bleach, do shinigami wear pants or a skirt?!
Question: is the outer black garment separated down the bottom like pants, or is the inner white garment pants, and the outer black one like a skirt? OR is the outer black garment two-piece, top and bottom?
Also, is it only the sub captains that have the armband that says which division they are from?

It's called a 'Hakama', it looks like a pleated skirt and there are two kinds, one that is divided at the bottom like trousers and one that is un-divided =)
Yeah! Because the captains have their division on the back of their special white caot/jacket thingy lol ^^
It's a "Japanese Dress" which is really pants. It's traditional of something like a Samurai.

yes, they are the only one who wears it, while shinigami captains wear those white things, that are jackets.
