I was going to ask this same question here too. Thanks for asking it! Full Metal Alchemist is my favorite anime, and unfortunately, I don't know. I think they should make a 2nd one, or a whole 2nd anime series for it leading off from the movie. It would be interesting to see the Homunculus now that they are back in the bodies they should've been, even though they aren't the original. It would also be nice to see the people that have died in Shamballa, now in Germany. I'm not sure if you know this person but Lujon, Scar's brother, who died by Lust, is a character I'd really like to get to know better. He seemed pretty cool, aside from cheating on his girlfriend... And I think that since Envy was sealed into the Gate, he should come back out and reek havoc or whatnot.
I doubt it. The movie wrapped up the anime fairly well. Ed and Al reunited with his body back and memories. Both sides saved , envy , wrath and gluttony dead.
It was a good end, I wish they stayed in their world but its how they choose to end it. It was complete. Many animes/mangas end in this way

To the poster above me , Envy died when the gate was created on the other world's end.
Read the manga if you want a different story. Its completely different than the anime. The anime took a different route to tell the story (manga came first though)
