black cat(train's family was killed when he was little, and was raised as an assasin. however, he did changed through out the series.)
gakuen alice(when natsume was little he burned his whole town, so he was treated as a dangerous person. still it's a funny series, because natsume always pick on mikan)
yuyu hakusho(when hiei was little, he was supposed to be killed. however, his mom protected him, and threw him off a cliff. somehow he survived, and was found by bandits.)
code geass(when lelouch was little his mom was killed, by his father. in order to get revenge he went against his father, the king of britannia)

inuyasha for sure. shessomaru or "fluffy" is one of them.
Try Hellsing, dark evil kind of main character, pretty cool to me. There's only about 13 episodes too, shouldn't take too long to finish.
I'm sorry, i don't know many exactly like that so i can only recommend Trinity Blood(dark past).
