Have you ever read a manga and then watched the anime and it seemed completely d!

Question: For instance they sort of changed the story line, or they added to many new scenes, or they left out a lot of scenes? If so, what was it?

In FullMetal Alchemist, yes all of the Homunculi are there, but in different places. I mean, Sloth was, in the manga, this big monster guy who was digging a trench. And in the anime, Sloth was female. Y'know, that watery chick.

Also, some things were different in the InuYasha anime & manga. The obvious problem is that they stopped making episodes, (I would have REALLY loved to see it in the anime when Sesshoumaru met his mother, and she sent him to hell! lol) but some stuff was just filler. For example, in that episode with the demon bats, in the manga they didn't show Inuyasha's flashbacks about his mom. (Which sucked. I like Inuyasha's flashbacks.)

P.S. I TOTALLY LOVE YOUR AVATAR! SESSHOUMARU IS OVERWHELMINGLY SEXY!!!

yes. iv been reading the first couple books of Bleach, and then decided to watch them online, and So much was cut out from the books! the story line did change alot. the mangas are are always better to read.

Oh yeah, that happens all the time. The anime a lot of the time is usually an abridged telling of the story. In some cases, like Escaflowne for instance, the manga and TV anime and movie are actually three separate tellings of the story and really have nothing to do with each other than name, basic plot and characters.

Not only with Anime, Also with Movies and the Books or comic books they are supposedly inspired from. For Example V for Vendetta is nothing like th Comic Book, Catwoman, Constantine etc they just did what ever they want with the characters. The most painful is the Movie Van Helsing, Since they Butchered the Great Hero From The Novel Dracula to make a Wolverine knockoff Or Hellsing Anime where they made a Mary Sue Character named incognito which was BS. And Transformed Alexander Anderson from a Vampire Hunter to a Mindless sociopath. I AM Legend is another example of this. However sometimes Its a good thing, Like in FullMetal Alchemist which had a different Finale but was pretty good and had some very interesting concepts not explored in the Manga.

Yes, Full metal alchemist for example is like two completely different stories, the even change Character names like Pride in the anime is really wrath. and in the anime both Sloth and Wrath don't exist. Character deaths are different as well
