the best one ever in terms of all anime is Blood+ the main characters name is Saya(see screeen name) and she starts out as a highschool girl. i wont spoil it for u but she eventually finds out highschool wouldve been a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... time ago for her. the anime/manga is based off a movie called Blood:the Last Vampire
a lot of animes have a high school student as a main character.....i really like pretear.(the dubbed version is available on dvd...its probably hard to find it on the internet.

A LOT. It would probably be safe to say that about 30%-50% of all anime shows have a high school student as the main character. Do you have anything more specific than that?
Harem? Action? Mystery? Romance? Slice of Life? Comedy?
Nomal? Sci Fi? Fantasy?
Or do you have any shows that you could give us an example of? As it is, I can list hundreds (maybe only 100 dubbed...) that have a high schooler as the lead...
