Anime question? Suspense??!

Question: Has there ever been an anime where your heart was beating like crazy??
like... ok. there were certain parts of death note where my heart would beat really fast and i would be at like the edge of my seat like this close (this close: --) to having a heart attack.

have you ever felt this way? or did an anime ever make you feel really scared or really nervous??

i am currently watching Texhnolyze and on the 1st ep alone myy whole body was like shivering and i was so nervous!! so serious!! my heart was beating like mad. if they meant for this to be a suspense type anime they did a great job!!

do you know any anime like this???
thanks for sharing!! ^^
please state the anime and why ^^ or even the scene =]
arigatou gozaimasu!

Yes, whenever L and Light confront each other gives me chills up and down my spine.

Not sure if this is what you mean but Princess Mononoke gave me goosebumps :P

yes!!!! the first time on DBZ when goku went ss or on FMA when alphonse got his body back soooo many times

you should definately check Hunter x Hunter, but watch you have to watch a few episodes as the tension continues to grow throughout the series.

I remember watching this sailermoon movie back ago, and they had to fight this ice queen from outerspace. I remember getting all excited when the half naked queen appears on a scene.

Claymore seems to be a suspense action type anime
Hope its to your liking too.

Yeah sometimes I react to anime. If it's a good anime Im really into i shake (like how you shake bonuce your leg when you sit...but it goes through my whole body) and my jaw gets tense and tightens.

The only animes that kinda scared me would be Blood+ and Devil May Cry......I mean you just dont wanna imagine those types of monsters butsing through the walls and screaming and howling outside your windows.

The beginning of episode 1 of Devil May Cry actually made me jump...where the guy was in the bar and he shot the guy behind him sitting at the table. I didnt know what the anime was about so when the guy fell back I expected him to crash into the table or something but he popped right back up and started howling!

SCARY!!!

I think Claymore gave me a shock coz that was one anime where body parts go flying

Death Note certainly does that... :)
whenever Light and L confront each other I'm just like "NOOOO"

Elfen Lied is great too. a lot of those parts just make you want to scream at the characters....especially at the end when shes about to die

Blood+. and they have the intense suspense music in the background and i'm just like "omg they're going to die"
all the fight scenes too, like when Hagi was wounded by the Shiff (spelling?)

hana yori dango
lovely complex
those just made me feel like that becuase i couldnt wait for the next episode
any anime about aliens or armageddon freak me out and i have nightmares

death note of course, it's the only anime that made my heart beat like crazy, when L dies, I went closer closer and closer saying "that can't be, that can't be" the same goes with Light OMG T_T here's so many scenes in death note that made me feel like that : /

the other one Hunter x Hunter when Gon stole Hisoka's plate my heart was beating like omg.. also every moment in the genei ryodan arc...

the one that gave me the shivers was berserk, it's way too violent the way the blood splashes here and there....

the first episode of jigoku shoujo made me scared a bit, but lol, now it's just normal!

the only anime that made me laugh to the hardest is one piece, it made me giggle most of the time and it excites me like hell..

well, fushigi yugi got my heart beating.. bcoz of the romance stuffs though. it gets you to blush badly. =p

well, fullmetal alchemist gave me some suspense. this anime is like the best anime ever, which sucks you into their world, and you can feel what they are going through and all. It's really nice.

Blood+ is another good anime to watch.

Ha, I'm kinda a nerd, but any time I watch an anime I tend to cheer for the people I like, give them advice(or rather shout it, like: GO LEFT, DAMNIT, LEFT!), and yell at them when they're being stupid/tell them how they should have done it. It makes watching a hell of a lot funner (n_n)

When I'm watching an anime like One Piece I'm laughing really hard and watching intently, when I'm watching Death Note I'm totally focused on Light's plan and L's counter-attack. It's really interesting to see, they're on the exact same brain wave the whole time <3

Ya...
I was like SUPER nervous in Bleach a few times. Like when the giant hollow (forgot the name, but its spannish) and when Ichigo was training with Urahara to become a soul reaper again.

Also in Fruits Basket after Kyo transformed.

And in Gravitation when Yuki tried to kill himself.

And in Sukisho when Sora was trying to kill Shinichirou.

Than again in Blood+. Not a specific time, but throughout the entire story, just about.... HAJI RULES!!!

^_^

The cliffhangers on Death Note had me hanging onto the edge of my seat, and I'd be watching episodes all night, well until my mum kicks my butt lol =)
