What is the best manga?!?!
Question: ok here it is, i know NOTHING about manga, except that my husband reads it and i started getting to like it (i have crushes easily on the drawings, some of them are so cute! lol) so can someone recomend a GOOD manga serious for a 21 year old girl? i like some vionlence, romance, and i often find i like the ones with the girls being the herioness more. BUT i don't want any of this just life ones. I'v tried 3 different ones and they weren't quite what i was looking for. so if anyone is on the same mind set as me and likes these please help me out! ((Also if you give me a short synopsis too that would be good, b/c i'm having a hard time finding those on amazon.com ))

D Grayman or Hellsing. D Grayman is about an Organization that employs Exorcist, who here born with control of a substance named Innocence, which can Destroy beings called Akuma (Demon or Devil in Japanese), who are Evil beings that take possession of human corpses, trapping the soul inside and using it as an energy source. This organization fights them and destroys them giving the souls they possessed much desired peace. The plots are very interesting, with many symbolism and Existential Questions regarding whether The Exorcists liked or even deserved the life of Danger simply because they where born that way. The main Character is Allen Walker who besides his innocence he is cursed with the ability to Identify the Akuma ( One might say that this comes dandy for an exorcist but he feels the pain of the trap souls in the process) And Leenalee Lee (Her Last name is Lee) a 16 year old who lost her parents to the Akuma and grew up far from her beloved brother, who is her only family, she was taken away at the age of 13 and was a very lonely existence until Her Brother became an a Member of the Organization rising quickly to Mangement due to his immense knowledge of the Occult and its mechanics. Although at first It seemed that Allen was the Main Character, Later episodes centered on Leenalee, Later It was about both Allen and Lee in a shared spotlight.
Hellsing is far more complicated but I'll try my best. Its an sequel to Dracula the Novel (and the only one that is faithful to the novel) Is about an Organization called Hellsing who Hunts Vampires and their Zombified Servants called Ghouls, Is lead By Integra Hellsing (Descendant of Abraham Van Helsing) and assisted by Her own Personal Vampire named Alucard (Dracula Backwards, He is actually Dracula Himself who was trapped by Van Helsing after the events on the Novel) . The remanding of the Nazi party, created an organization named Millennium which sole goal is to create a never ending War lead by Mayor Montana Max (Yeah it has the same name as that Tiny toons character) and assisted by his many personal commanders all monsters (Many Vampires and a Werewolf) , this organization started to create there own Vampires called Freaks. besides Hellsing and Millennium there is also The Vatican's Anti-Vampire Organization called Section 13, Which is lead by bishop Enrico Maxwell and assisted by Father Alexander Anderson (Human, though genetically altered to hunt vampires) Who Fight both Hellsing and Millennium. Although Hellsing Members are the main characters, The author also gives many compelling characteristics to the other characters and everyone from the Gray zone, to the dark zone are giving virtues and defects and Integra The main Character has to make some tough life or death chooses just to keep London safe.
They are both ongoing.
And If you want something better than Pokemon, avoid Naruto.

I highly suggest watching Naruto. Naruto in my opinion is one of the best anime/manga ever so far. I defiantly think is has lived up to the hype about it. The show has a interesting plot with very good art and charter drawing. The show includes action/comedy/romance and drama Here what the show is about. It is about a boy named Naruto who is an orphan and has a demon spirt fox in him that was put there when he was born. Later on Naruto finds friends that like him of who he is. He has made a decision be become the greatest ninja in his village (the village hidden in the leaves), he wants to become hokage, but in order to do that he must train like he never has before as well has battle through missions and interesting foes with his friends and learning new moves/jutsu (speail fighting moves) and marial arts. In between all this there are relationships between charcaters.Naruto is defiantly a series/show/manga that defiantly worth getting into and is one good epic story.

All in all it has everything you could want out of anime/manga including action/romance/drama/and comdy.

In her sixteen year old body Mitsuki is healthy and she becomes the famous singer Full Moon. She hopes that by singing she can reach Eichi, the boy she loves who left for America 2 years ago.
Trust me it's an awesome manga and you will love it!

A girl named Tohru Honda who was living by herself in a tent one day finds a house on her way to school. Her classmate Yuki Sohma and his cousin Shigure are the ones who live there. When Yuki & Shigure find out that Tohru lives in a tent they invite her to stay with them. When her tent is buried in a landslide she accepts. Soon after she moves in Yuki's other cousin Kyo comes and challenges Yuki to a fight. When Tohru tries to stop the fight she accidently trips and hugs Kyo turning him into a cat. When Yuki & Shigure are accidently hugged too they turn into a rat & a dog. Tohru then discovers the Sohma family secret. 13 members of the Sohma family are cursed. When they are hugged by someone of the opposite gender or they are put under a great deal of stress they turn into 1 of the Chinese Zodiac animals. Tohru promises to keep the secret so her memories are not erased unlike anyone else who was not apart of the Sohma family. But there are darker secrets hidden behind the Sohma curse.
Try Fushigi Yuugi or Ayashi no Ceres(AKA, Ceres: Celestial Legend).
