What was the ending of the Original XMEN cartoon series?!
Question: The last episode of the X-Men cartoon series was called Graduation Day.
"It's the final episode for the X-Men. At a Mutant/Human Relations Summit, Henry Peter Gyrich attacks and cripples Professor Xavier with a psychic energy disrupter. The X-Men and Moira MacTaggert try to save Xavier, but all seems lost. Lilandra comes and has a cure, but Professor Xavier must leave with her and go with her to the Shi'Ar Empire to be cured. He bids farewell to his X-Men. The last scene of this show ends with all of the X-men standing outside the mansion saying goodbye to Professor X. "
Oh, and technically the Fox series was the second animated incarnation of the X-Men. The first was a half hour special "Pryde of the X-Men".
