Question: Okay, so I just want to ask who Sai is... I mean, well the ONLY thing I know about him is that he joined Team 7, I guess on Shippuuden. Please,please,please tell me everything you know about him.

Sai is a member of Root, a division under ANBU that is now disbanded.
Root is a division that does secret missions - the mission is to eliminate whatever / whoever is against Konoha, but it seemed that the leader Danzou has a hidden agenda. >_> Because of the militant-like thinking Danzou had, Root was disbanded... I think by Sandaime Hokage.
Originally Sai was never given a name; the name he uses now is only a codename for the mission. It's the same with Yamato, whose real name is actually Tenzou, but given the name for his mission to accompany Team 7.
Although Sai can be considered the most skilled in Root, he actually has problems showing his emotions. Danzou had given special, cold-hearted-like training that caused the members to only focus on the mission, and not anything else. Which later explains why he said immoral stuffs about Naruto so straight-forwardly. 8D He's very honest in real life, but in missions, he's a big, fat liar.
His hobbies are drawing and reading books. Since he had problems showing his emotions, it was from the books he read that "a smile can cover up everything". Things like that. Because of this so fake a smile Sai always used, Naruto and Sakura always wanted to punch him. XD
His most prized possession is his drawing book - despite the fact that he didn't really show his emotions - the book was originally a present for his "brother" (not blood-related, but were in Root as he was), but his "brother" was dead so he couldn't finish it. Only after he met Naruto then he finally remembered what he really wanted to draw.
His favorite phrase is now everything with "bonds" XD Because he was interested in human relationship and how it works out for certain people. He was interested on why Naruto was so eager to get Sasuke back, and why Sasuke did not act the same, and more connections that related the two together. This becomes the reason for him to know more about human relationship and became sociable slowly.

Sai, is an ANBU from the Root Division. She came to Team 7 to spy on Naruto so this political party can reviel the dark side of the current ruling party of the Leaf Village, or something like that.

Sai is added to Team 7 as a replacement for Sasuke Uchiha. As a member of Root, Sai has been trained to have no emotions, a trait meant to make him impartial to his missions. This lack of personality causes him to meet with hardship upon joining Team 7, as he makes the mistake of insulting the other members in an attempt to seem sociable. After spending more time with his team, Sai comes to appreciate bonds, particularly the bond that exists between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Wanting to experience bonds for himself, Sai sets out to make as many bonds as he can. His initial attempts consist of giving people pet names, though his habit of calling people as he sees them ("fat", "ugly", etc.) finds little success. Realizing that people dislike hearing how they actually look, Sai begins to say the opposite of how he sees them, such as calling Ino Yamanaka "pretty lady".
Sai is a talented artist, and claims to have drawn tens of thousands of pictures. Despite the magnitude of things he has drawn, he has never given any of his works a title, a side effect of his lack of emotion. Sai's drawing ability doubles as the source behind his jutsu; he is able to be bring to life anything he draws on a scroll he carries with him. These creations range from birds that he can use for flight, lion-like creatures that he can use for attack, to copies of himself that can act on his behalf. Sai can also transform words he writes on his scroll into small animals that seek out their target and revert back to words upon reaching their destination, giving Sai a discreet way to communicate across long distances.
From what I have seen I actually like Sai he does somehow remind me of Sasuke. Yet hes so sad you have to feel bad for him.

sai joined team 7 from the root ANBU, he has no emotions, and says things how they are, his is a great drawer and never gives titles to his pieces, his jutsu incorporates his talent in drawing.. for instance he can draw creatures on a scroll and can make it come to life
Sai is from ROOT ANBU where there are no feelings or emotions. He was put on the team forcingly almost by Yamato. Their real mission isn't to get Sasuke back but to kill Sasuke. Sai though before he is to kill Sasuke or fight him or stuff, he tells sasuke how he is a bastard and how hard his friends are trying to save him. and that he didn't deserve friends like them. and Yamato and Sai didn't finish the mission. After that, they are sorta on Naruto and their side but the only problem is that ROOT ANBU can't be trusted at all. So that means those two can't truly be trusted.
Sai's a cool character. He may act like a bastard but he is so funny. His 'jokes' he makes about sakura, naruto, and sasuke are halerious!!! He always gives fake smiles too. He has NO manners what so ever.
His tools is ink and a brush. He brings his drawings to life to fight and stuff.

hes from root u know the new teammate of sasuke in the sound its hes brother and they will fight when they will save sasuke and yes hes the replacement of sasuke
hes from anbus root division and thats all we really know about his ninja affiliations. other than that we can tell hes an artist, hes very interested in how naurot and sakura and all the other ninjas their age group seem to know eachother and how they have bonds with eachother, and that he had someone very dear and close to him that he considered a brother. when his brother died, sai couldnt feel anything. root members are trained to not feel anything, happiness, anger, sadness, even pain. emotions are just petty things that get in the way. sai is a very reclusive person who does not get along with sakura and naruto at first, but in time, he wants to be their friend. sai, all in all, is someone who is very lonely, but he is trying to be more friendly
