What makes a good sci-fi manga?!
Question: i'm thinking about writing a sci-fi manga but i need some help doing so. Can you tell me what makes a good sci-fi manga without it being to mecha? I want to try to make it good for viewers around the world.

In my opinion, the Anime/manga that deals with this genre the best is Cowboy Bebop, so I'd read or watch that if I were you.
Any good manga needs:
~well developed and intriguing characters (who aren't just cliques) who often have pasts that come back to haunt them ~an interesting plot (or multiple sub plots leading up to the climax)
~a unique style or art form (don't make it look like every other comic out there!)
~a good mix of comedy, drama, suspense, and mystery!

war in space could work.sorry all the sci-fi manga i know of is pretty mecha of them there is rahxephon, evangelion, eureka seven...all worth checkin out.
hey how about keeping it simple. how about making a new age drug narcotic that is very addictive and make various characters too. have drug lords, police and detectives, reporters, civilian heros and have the military too. hey hope its a good start for you. good luck and take care.
