idunno about the story but streetfighter alpha blew me away! oh and on kill bill v.1 there was a 5 min part of anime that was amazing. both had good style.

and the art in gundam seed, scryed, and heroic age!!! (same character designer)

Claymore should be the one. Though the plot is odd and does not suit everyone's taste, the graphics are awesome!
