Honey and Clover. It is romance/life/comedy
It describes a college and issues like: loyalty, first love, pain. etc. It is worth watching!
Paradise Kiss. About a girl who suddenly became a model.
Talks a bout the indusrty, the difficulties of becoming an adult and a woman... Well, it is awesome.
Hataraki Man. It is an anime about a woman torn between carree and romance.
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge: Romance/Life/Comedy.
Well it is worth it because the story is about a girl, who was once rejected and called ugly... And then... :P
Honey and Clover - it is one the funniest shows I have seen in a long time and uses real life situations to create them. It doesn't rely on perv jokes or anything to make it funny.
Lucky Star -- high school kids, and their silly conversations. Lots of references to other anime, manga, and video games.
Hidamari Sketch -- Private school art students and their silly convos.
