The mainstream Spider-man ends up convincing Spider-Carnage not to destroy the universe by bringing an Uncle Ben from a parallel world to talk to him. Uncle Ben gives his trademark "With great power comes great responsibility speech." Then Spider-Carnage uses the device to destroy himself and stop the universe from ending.
