ELFEN LIED has dismemberment and blood and blow em' up gore
but they don't have revenge and betrayal (but don't let that stop you from some great anime ) and you can get all volumes at you're local suncoast or at their on line store

My fav is probably Berserk, but Hellsing is pretty good, too. I've also heard that Basilisk is amazing, but haven't had a chance to actually watch it yet.
