I liked Kaoru better. He's younger by the minute but he's so much more mature in realizing his feelings and prioritizing his love. He gave up his love for Haruhi for Hikaru's sake. That shows courage and loyalty.

i would have to say hikaru. he's immature and clumsy with his feelings,but he tries to play older brother for kaoru sometimes but kaoru is more mature and ends up being the one to take care of him. i just think its cute that he doesn't know how to show his feelings.

i like hikaru! even though he was being childish on his date with haruhi, he still managed to snap out of it, and rescue haruhi.
kaoru, at first he was jealous that hikaru was spending time with haruhi. remember when they said that the two of them are just what they have. he still managed to put hikaru and haruhi on a date. he really became mature, and selfless, in order to make his brother happy.

OMG, i can't pick. haha. i can't really distinguish them apart anyways, execpt for their personalities. but i like both of them as much as the other, because it's really hard for me to pick favorites if they're twins. but my favorite is tamaki because he makes me laugh every second he opens his mouth (just exxagerating)

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Hikaru, but I just like Kaoru an eensy weensy bit more.
I say Hikaru because he's like always the mastermind behind all the weird things they do XD. He alway is well, like evil[i don't think thats the right word, but you know what i mean right?] I just like him more than Kaoru ^^ I still like Kaoru though lol
