Well Naruto can even be viewed in the U.S. only in Japan,but by next year Shippuden might hit the U.S. that's if they don't show the fillers. If they do show the fillers it will probably take even longer. In the mean time just check out video website for trailers.
To find them try:
Try youtube,google video,and veoh.com. The good thing about veoh.com is that you can watch and download full length episodes.
Youtube: For youtube, find the video you want and copy and paste the url address and paste it into either youtubex.com or keepvid.com. Then press enter. Your video link should come up then right click and click "save target as..." and save it into a folder. Just make sure you do this: "Note: Please rename the file from get_video to get_video.flv after you have downloaded it."
Google Video: Do the same thing as above.
Veoh.com: Download veoh tv at the bottom of the page you have to register,but its worth it and doesn't coast any money. Once you download it you can find anime show you like as well as many other shows ad watch and download directly yo your computer. The video are automatically save in the veoh tv's program library and in folder too.
Also once you have file and its not in the right format,you can convert it to anyfile you like,I think ipod support mpeg files. Also you can use an online conveter at www.zamzar.com You upload your video and they convert it too any type you want and then you just have to download it again.
