A comic great, who was like no one else at the time . . . but like a lot of people (Elvis, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe, Jim Morrison) threw it all away on drugs.
Should they be admired? Are they really legends, just because they overdosed on drugs?
A personal opinion, but I find it hard to admire them or call them heroes of any kind. If I judged them I would judge them on their body of work not their sad endings and waste of their lives.
For the good he did not just the way he died
He was a comic actor. He gave some laughs but it's not like he cured cancer.
Remember why he got the star and why he was honored on the Hollywood walk fame not how he died Star for John and one for you!!!!!!...
