Monk (TV) and Willie?!
Question: I've noticed that the monk tv show has willie as a guest star and uses his name several times throughout the series... Anyone know why Willie is choosen? Is it Tony Shalbou or the screenwriter? I also like Willie Nelson, so its fantastic.

Ok so it's Tony Shalhoub! Well I guess Monk is a big fan of Willie's and he let him play his trumpet ...so I am assuming that the Writers have a friendship with Willie
