Question: In my opinion, Rocky and Bullwinkle were more popular during their original run, until The Flintstones came along, R&B had the longest running original animated series on television. The Flintstones would be the longest running until The Simpsons beat their record...but Scooby-Doo has been in more cartoon series and specials than any other character (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, The New Scooby-Doo Movies, The Scooby-Doo Show, The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, What's New Scooby-Doo?, Scooby-Doo's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics, The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby-Doo....and many more). Scooby-Doo has been on TV in one form or another since 1969! He's still going strong.
I would say overall, Scooby wins as most popular. Sadly, Woody Woodpecker is not as well remembered as he should be.

When I was a kid Rocky and Bullwinkle was real popular.....I remember watching it all the time....
today? Scooby-Doo is more popular with kids...
Scooby Doo, because everyone knows about it, plus there's a live action movie about it...
woody woodpecker show is a very old cartoon, it was when my father was a kid (he is in 50s right now, lol)...

I think it depends on what came first. Whichever came first was popular. What came next became popular and the last forgotten. The next one becomes popular and the last two become forgotten...
Personally, Rocky and Bullwinkle is my first favorite, Scooby Doo my second, and Woody the Woodpecker the last.
Scooby doo, because out of all the three Rocky and Bullwinkle was the least popular and only came out with one movie. Woody Woodpecker was a great cartoon for kids around the 50s and 60s, but Scooby Doo is the the most current show which ended its last season with What's New Scooby Doo? and it has over 10 movies to the newest movie Chill Out Scooby Doo!
All 3 were good, but Rocky n Bullwinkle has my vote.

Rent a DVD sometime & watch it. Great show, fun to watch...perfect show for it's time.
