It depends on what the 14 year old is interested in reading.
for u.....i would go w/ shojo(girls manga).....which includes fruit baskets.....and other romance....rorouni kenshin......im not sure if its classified as a shojo.......but im a guy....and ive read it....its actually pretty good.....hope i hlped
