Anime searching?!
Question: Do you know any Anime with cool female/ male character leader ? It's best if it has a bit romance/ forbidden love/ main characters with sad past. I also really like historical / samurai anime
I enjoyed :
Blood+, D.gray man, Seirei no moribito, naruto/ naruto shippuden, kekkaishi, Basilisk, Angel heart, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto, Triity Blood, Ogitoushi, Vampire princess Miyu, Hikaru no go, Basara, please save my earth, pumpkin scissors, samurai 7, samurai champloo, samurai deeper kyo, vision of escaflowne
and movies such as Mononoke hime, nassica, ged genki
However, I don't really like too complicated and too much mecha anime such as Code Geass, Ergo Proxy, Claymore.
I don't like anime with nosy girls.
I might be asking too much. Because I've watched many many series already and now I don't know what to watch anymore. I don't want to waste time to download and then detele them. It will help a lot if you can recommend me. Thanks alot. ^^

Hmmm......Black Blood Brothers is a short and sweet anime about a Vampire (who is definitely an awesome lead and a charismatic fellow) and his brother. I think it was 12/13 eps long or so.
Others that might interest you are:
-Bleach (awesome characters, long though and still going)
- Fruits Basket ( a lovely, sweet anime)
-Jubei-chan 1 and 2 ( the Protagonist is a normal girl turned swords master/ninja. it's funny and the action scenes are great.)
-Karin ( a girl vampire with a cool twist is the protagonist)
Kaze no Stigma
-Kyoshiro to towa no sora ( a shoujo/mecha/romance anime. short and sweet)
- Mai-HIME/Mai HIME ZWEI/ Mai-OTOME( as called Mai Z HIME) (the Mai series has all the romance and dark pasts/futures you could want. Also, the titles are sometimes spelled with "My" instead of "Mai")
- Ouran high School host club (A High school romance comedy that parodies many elements of shoujo anime/manga)
- Prince of Tennis (sports anime with a cool twist)
- Princes Tutu (don't be put off by the title, it's an awesome anime that takes magical girls to funny and serious depths)
- School Rumble (all school life, comedy and romance)
- Tsubasa Chronicle and XXXHolic (both clamp animes and intertwined (so are the mangas) ) Don't let XXXholic's title put you off, it's probably rated G or PG 13 at the most, it's a safe anime.
- The twelve kingdoms ( Juuni Kokki) - an adventure anime with awesome and intriguing characters and a really nice plot. Not too long.
- Witch Hunter Robin - a great anime. I definitely recommend it.
- X/1999 tv - often times called just "X" it's a clamp anime and it has all the dark angsty apocalyptic feelings you could want. there's a movie too (alternate ending)
- Zetsuai 1989/Bronze- if boy's love is your thing then this has all the forbidden love and angsty mush you could want. Nice music too.

Full Moon wo Sagashite, Mermaid Melody, and Tokyo Mew Mew are REALLY good animes! You get very into it! They are my all time favorite animes!

5 ordinary girls get infused with the DNA of 5 endangered animals. They must use their new powers to defend the Earth from the aliens that are trying to take Earth as their own.

The Pink Pearl Mermaid Princess Luchia must go to the human world to find her sacred pearl she gave to a boy she met 7 years ago. After getting her pearl back she must find the 6 other mermaid princesses to help reawaken Aqua Regina so she can save the undersea world and the human world from the evil Gaito.

In her sixteen year old body Mitsuki is healthy and she becomes the famous singer Full Moon.

You seem to really like anime with vampires too. Have you tried Helsing. It's a really great anime with vampires. NO MECHAS. The main character has a crush on the lead vampire Helsing himself. There is a complicated past too.
