I don't think that there is a such thing as "a second season of Bokura ga Ita". It's just that the manga continues from where the anime left off, so I guess you could call it that if you want to, lol. The manga is basically - I hear - 11 volumes and still going and yes people have started to translated the manga, so far successfully up to volume 9. Here is a link for you to read it online, if you wish to do so.

You'll have to check the daily manga updaters website for more information on when exactly they plan on realeasing the final copies of the manga, though.

Here is a forum where other Bokura ga Ita fans discuss topics such as the manga release dates, if you want to check that out.

Although, just to let you know the manga basically follows through the plot line of the anime until Yano and his mom move, leaving Nanami behind. The story continues with a few months having passed, and Nanami has not heard from Yano since that day they parted at the train station. Though deep in her heart she still loves Yano, she outwardly gives him up and begins dating Takeuchi who has been along her side since. Yano on the other hand turns out to have had trouble after moving. The reason he had stopped contacting Nanami after the day at the train station was because his mother was having health problems and he was not in any state to bother with a long distance relationship. He also met another girl, someone who has been with him since his mother began having the health problems.

I assume the title "Bokura ga Ita", translated as "We were There" is a past-tense saying, meaning that both Nanami and Yano were only there once, and that they will not return to those days where they truly loved one another due to the time passing and the fact that neither thought that a long-distance realtionship was possible. But, that is only my input. =P

Anyway, sorry for rambling, haha.
Hope you find what you're looking for~
