I've seen three endings.

The movie ending SUCKED

The anime ending was pretty good but I so wanted light to win as the world needs Kira, IMO

The manga ending was a little better, I guess they didn't do that with the anime as to kill off any rumours or another series being spread (although they still seem to have sprung up)
Oh yeah, duh. I forgot that there were movie clips on YouTube a while back. Report It

    • Yes. It's just ok for me. But I liked the ending of the manga (japanese comics) more. There, Ryuk have written the name of Light in front of him. Light begged Ryuk for his life, but Ryuk was unaffected. All he said is "You have lost." (Well, this is i case you haven't yet read the manga).
    Yes I have and I'm sad but what else can I expect for the ending of a man who chose to play God over being a mere human...
    yes, but only in the manga. it was demented. and i love the final bit, kira reborn!

    they ended it alright i quess just wish the whole manga vol. wasnt just on their meeting place

    I am glad kira was caught but some of my favorite characters had to die before that. u_u
