To date, Naruto Shippuuden has released 35 episodes (roughly equivalent to manga chapters 280+) and is ongoing.
The death of Asuma was shown in manga chapter 327 and isn't shown in the anime as of yet.

hasn't been shown yet. it'll happen after the event of team kakashi meeting orochimaru's spy at the earth heavens bridge. afterwards we start seeing the bad guys making thier final moves to catch all the jinchuriki. thats when asuma dies. just like the first posters response
currently.... there are 35 episodes...
asuma hasnt died in the epusodes yet....
he has in the manga... but the chapter:episode ratio differs often... so i cant be exactly sure what episode he will die in
