Does neji's hatred even make sense?!
Question: Yes,yes I know there cousins, I know neji's from the cadet and hinata from the main and I know that hinata likes naruto,but somethimes I think neji's grudge against Hinata doesn't make sense. in ep 46-47, after he blocked her tenketsus, instead of just telling her he rolled up her sleeve to show her instead.
And when she stood up after the last time neji knocked her out
he almost sounded worried when he said:"why are you getting up?If you go on ,you really will die". if he hated her so much why did he bother saying what she can or can't do? .It's when he gave her that stern speech before the mach. Why did he cared about the nature and behavior of someone he hated?saying that shes to kind and isn't confendent enough?neji knew he could beat her.

well its not exactly HER that he hates; it more of the way of the hyuuga clan that he hates. and would you want to kill your cousin even if you hated them>?
he never really hated her it just the branch rules and stuff like that he thinks of her as worthless at the beginning but that all over with now
until later in the series, he feels that she always had it better and never worked for her position in life and didnt deserve it and resented her for it(beliefs instilled in him from a early age) and her showing her strength and determination of approval(or somthing like that) the board that was stuck up his *** fell out and he actually showed concern for her out of respect gained durring the battle
btw... later, naruto asks hinata out on a date and when she is slow to answer he decides to go ask neji instead(although he just phrased somthing entirely different poorly :D )
he hated the lack of free wil in his life, not hinata specifically, read those chapters again
Well Neji has this idea that ones path can not be changed ( he later forgets this idea thank to Naruto beating him in the Chunnin exams) Well some of his hatred comes that his dad sacrificed his life for his brother(the main branch)(i believe Neji's dad's twin). He believes it was unfair that his dad had to give his life for his brothers. Neji doesn't have much hatred for Hinata any more in Manga Part 2 (Naruto Shippuden)
