Answers: just wondering, why is sailor moon canceled? that was one of the best anime cartoons ever.

It was removed from television because many adults thought it was in appropriate for young children. I did a little bit of reasearch on it and it turns out that most of the characters were either gay or leasbian. Not that many people were straight and that is why it was taken off of tv.

For example, if you remember Zoisite,http://www.absoluteanime.com/sailor_moon... she is actually a gay man with a femine touch. He was in love with Malachite,http://www.absoluteanime.com/sailor_moon... who was also gay but he looks like a man.

I know - i loved it. about 10 years ago even my husband would sing the theme song to my daughter to help her sleep! We have them on dvd. we even were planning on naming our children Serena and Darian (but we didn't).

"fighting evil by moonlight... winning love by daylight... never running from a real fight... she's the one called Sailor Moon"

It was probably canceled because it didn't draw enough of a fan base. I loved it too, I grew up watching it every morning before school.

Anyway, aside from the fan base, they probably didn't want to waste time with a show they had to politically correct. If you've seen or know anything about the japanese version, you know what I'm talking about, but if not, here are a few things you may not have known.

In season one, the general for queen Beryl, Zoicite, was a man, not a woman. Whoever bought the show and dubbed it changed it so not to have gay characters.
Two of the Sailor Scouts, Sailor Uranus and Neptune, were lovers.
The last season of Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon Stars, centered around Sailor Scouts from other galaxies, particularly the Sailor Stars, whose disguise were three men who transformed into women.

I'm a dude but i saw the last part of it. Her last enemy was Galaxia..something like that. She was the ultimate sailor soldier of the past. How about "Bleach" and "Naruto"? They're pretty cool too.
