but its not suprising that so many people like it seeing as it is one of, if not THE MOST poular anime and manga in japan and the US that is currently being produced. in fact, as of volume 36, the manga has sold over 71 million copies in japan alone. and its still gind with part II (shippuuden) seeing as they ended the first part on February 8, 2007
