Find a picture you like on the net, save it to your computer, and upload it on yahoo avatars.
When making your avatar Yahoo gives you lots of options of things to add to it, such as clothing, accessories and backgrounds. So you just add one of these which has a cartoon character you want, then zoom in on it instead of the avatar's face (it gives you directional buttons so that you can do this). There, now the only thing in the picture is the cartoon. Just save it and you're good to go.

first click "my profile" on the right in your screen, and when you are inside of your profile click again "public view of my profile" you will see your profile set , so you need click again "edit avatar"... and the browser pop up and you'll see the options.
i don't have a "cartoon" avatar.....but i do have a "made up" avatar. like the one your using but different, lol!
i just never use it.

I ADD A PICTURE ONTO MY YAHOO 360 PAGE THEN GO ON TO CHANGE PROFILE ON YAHOO ANSWERS AND THE MAIN PICTURE FROM YAHOO 360 WILL COME UP AS A PICTURE OPTION!
