Who is the strongest fighter in dragonball series?!
Question: Technically, it's Gohan. Since he is part human, part Saiyan, and part demon, he has the strength of all three races within him. At the end of the Cell saga, he was the strongest person on Earth.
However, because of Chi-Chi's interference, Gohan eventually distanced himself from fighting, and by Dragonball GT, he was a non-combatant. So, to answer your question, the merged Vegeta/Goku combination is the overall strongest fighter, with the merged Gotan/Trunks combination coming in second. Of the non-merged characters, Goku is easily first, then Buu, Vegeta, and then Trunks.

Depends if your asking about the manga or anime series or in general.
Manga - goku (dragonball manga equals db plus dbz)
Anime- since both are dividied in series Picollo (Ma Junior) was the strongest since 1) goku never killed him only defeated him in the last battle of the series 2) back when raditz was the new strongest enemy looking for the 2 strongest on the planet power levels piccolo's was like a tad bit higher than goku's. I think it was like 550 for picollo and like 500 for goku or something like that .
