Shojo manga are the best since their like mangas for females and there are a lot of fun mangas like Shugo Chara and Kitchen Princess... and for animes I recommend, Saiunkoku Monogatari and D.Gray Man

Blood + and Full Metal Alchemist are great animes. But, the #1 best anime and manga EVER is definitely Fruits Basket! It's an anime and a manga! You should check it out! ^_^
