Anyone remember this cartoon?!
Question: my b/f was reminicising about a cartoon he used to watch as a kid that had the characters travelling through time and experiencing different historical events on earth...dinosaurs, space travel etc...Bachs fugue was played at the opening of the show and had a clip of man evolving.....anyone have any idea the name of this cartoon??? it appeared on tv in the late 70's early 80's...possibly a german cartoon....thanks for your help!

I saw that cartoon! It was in my school library!
It is a very old educational cartoon, and it had a little box with two eyes, and inside the box would show the date or the time period that the show was going to talk about.
The human evolved into a man and he became an astronaut, and then it showed a jerky animation, of the launching of the old apollo rockets, and Da Vinci drawing of man!
Darn it, I don't remember the name of the show, but your bf memory is correct, it does exist, he wasn't hallucinating.
