What's the best cartoon/tv show based on a comic book?!

batman the animated series (not "the batman" thats out now). it was a lot better than 90% of the movies. it showed batman in a serious role like he is in the comics. the stories were written for adult audiences and were mature. I know it won an Emmy.
does digimon count? if not, then i love love love sonicx, but i have not yet read the comics...

uBatman: The Animated Series was the best cartoon ever. Great voice cast, animation was ahead of it's time, changed the way cartoons are made. It was the most faithful to the source material, and yet kept it fresh.
X-Men was also great as was The Tick cartoon of the 90s. The 90s Spidey cartoon was garbage. The Justice Leage was pretty good too, but I'm partial to Bruce W. Timm's work.
As for you people and Smallville, it's OK, but does not follow the Superman mythology at all. It's sad, it's like they intentionally make movies and TV shows now to piss off us comic book nerds. Teen Titans was the worst cartoon ever based on DC comics, and I mean worse than the old Superfriends and Filmation's Batman/Superman of the 60s and 70s.
Smallville....It is an awesome take on the original Superman storys................
