Do you find female anime characters annoying?!
Question: Now I enjoy quality anime but and I'm not here to bash anime but I dislike a small part of it. Here's what I find annoying about female characters in Anime.
They are often weak willed, unable to fend for themselves - especially in action animes. I swear writers put them in just to waste episode time, serves as fan service, and give the main hero something to get mad about. They always do that horribly cliche "Yamate" (Stop it) scene with tears rolling down their cheeks. Seriously writers, come up with something new. I've seen this in at least 10 series and I've only seen like 16 series.
I find them especially ditzy and annoying. I guess that's supposed to be cute in Asia and stuff but it seems horribly fake
They seem to be almost flawless, unless they're the bad guy. They are almost always over-sympathetic, kind-hearted, perfect in almost every way. Talk about shoving females on an pedestal. I find this in a lot of asian movies too. Does anyone get annoyed by this too or just me?

I hate it so much where i wish i could go into to the anime and biitch slap those cry babies. I hate it when the girl gets captured or hurt or something by a villan and they do nothing about it but wait for the hero(main character) to recuse them. Why the fck are they so weak and are always cry babies? its like they are always just stupid attention whores in every anime. the only anime girl i like is the purple haired girl from Ghost in the Shell. she actually stands up for herself and has common sense unlike these stupid annoying anime girls. i only like anime girl characters if they're not weak, and could stand up for their self; and also they can't be annoying or i wont like them. ditzy anime girls make us girls look bad.

You have to realize also that where the film is made is why they act the way they do. Mostly the female characters are depicted as they are because the male is suppose to be dominant and protective and controlling. That is what the culture sees them as. So they incorporate that into their films. I do know what you mean. I find it most annoying that the females are toothpicks. To me its icky.
nope, its a manga or anime style,,, put unimportant character.
especially in the adult anime... i've been read and watch manga/anime for i was kid... so fine to me...

Yes, its "extremely" hard to find an Anime that has perfect Female characters.
But im guessing that 'overall' personality of the girls/woman particularly appeal to Male masses... IMHO. ;P

Or the girls who cannot "live" without having some form of Testosterone around them. (I.E. Jumping all over guys, trying to act overtly sexual...and in the end the guy doesnt even like her...) >___>;;

They are really bitchy (excuse my french, xD) girls, who should be obliterated from the face of the Earth......URGH. >:(

so agree!! in most animes i've watched the girl just hie behind a bush (or whatever) while the guy does the fighting. Even in the animes where the girl is the main/important character she's still a totaly wimp. even in the fighting ones!
I also really find it annoying how the writers talk constantly about girls chest/chest size. It was kinda funny at first, but now i just find it stupid. I also think its a little immature to call women's cleavage "heavenly valley" or some other equally stupid and equally degrading term.
and yes the writers do make all the girls sound soooo stupid. they're def ditzy and when a girl is 'smart' or at the very least not a complete idiot she is considered less attractive and more masculine. and the smart girls are normally the ones who are the fighters, the ones who kick ***.
so yeah those totally piss me off, but i still love anime and will continue to watch it

Not all of them. But all the type you describe. For example, "The Major" Motoko Kusinagi, Nene from Bubblegum Crisis 2040, and pretty much all the women in Evangelion don't fit your description at all, and I had no problems with them.
Yes I do...I find the male characters annoying, too.
Some of them can be overly sensitive and a bit crazy. But that's what makes them comedy fodder. there's a lot of strong female characters in anime as well
omfg yes!!!!! somtimes i like them if they kick *** but if its a lovey dovey girl that always cries every 2min then i HATE them.
