Does lois lane eventually find out clark kent's secret?!

My hubby (a sci-fi and comic freak) says if they stay true to the mythos as was put forth in the comic series, eventually Lois will be finding out Clark's secret. The better question would be if she is told (and told by whom) OR if she finds out like Lana did, quite on accident.
I pretty much doubt it would happen in Smallville since it's Clark's pre Superman days. If it stays true to the comics, she only finds out much later in Metropolis.
Hasn't so far, to my knowledge...
