Hyuuga or Uchiha?!
Question: Which clan is better and why? The real question would be, if Neji happened to fight against Sasuke, who would win? Even Sasuke has weak points, but can Sasuke's sharingan copy Nejis's Byakugan? or Neji's Juuken? or even Neji's Hakke Rokujuuyonshou? As far as i know they are both genious, and both of them have to attack close to their enemy. I remember when Neji was fighting against Hinata, and Kakashi said something like even Sasuke wouldn't be able to defeat Neji, but Sasuke has been Orochimaru's Subordinate. Please help me.

I agree with the first guy who answered that Sharingan cannot possibly copy Neji's Byakugan abilities....but they say Sharingan outclasses Byakugan....here are my reasons:
1)It has the the ability tocopy ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu making Sasuke a dangerous opponent in terms of battle
2)Sharingan gives the user the eyes to predict one's movement and follow it like when using the Chidori Sasuke's Sharingan can see the opponet's attacks and easily evade it.
3)The Sharingan also has the Mangekyou Sharingan ability w/c Sasuke doesn't possess...but its abilities are far better than a normal Sharingan and can possibly rival the Rinnegan
Neji's Byakugan on the other hand can be considered dangerous. Why because of the following:
1) The Byakugan has almost a 360 degree view w/c gives the user the advantage of seeing any attack from every direction except its blind spot.
2) With the Byakugan, Neji can see the opponents chakra points and with his Jyuuken he can use it to seal off Sasuke's chakra
3)With clan techniques like Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, Kaiten, Jyuuken and Hakke Hazangeki, Neji has an arsenal of techniques plus his Byakugan, which gives him an absolute defense and offense, since he can see any attack from anywhere and counter it with ease...and bein a Jounin is also an advantage to his part
Between the two geniuses, its hard to call on who would win because Sasuke has an arsenal of Katons(Fire Techniques), Raitons(Lightning Attacks), kenjutsus(Sword Techniques w/ Kusanagi) and the Sharingan. Neji on the other hand, has excellent Taijutsu, one of the best Jyuuken one can do, some ninjutsu (maybe because a jounin must at least know some jutsus right?) and the Byakugan...But for me....maybe Sasuke...because not only he has the Sharingan and the Kusanagi but also he can have the Cursed Seal form w/c rivals Naruto in One-Tailed form or possibly Two-tailed form...
The Sharingan cannot copy other Bloodline Limits. So, the answer is no, he would not be able to use any of the techniques that require Neji to use the Byakugan. In terms of who would win, it is a hard decision. At this point Neji is a Jonin, so he outranks Sasuke, but since Sasuke is a missing-nin, there is no way to rank him. I would say there are sound arguments for both sides.
EDIT: For the poster under me, you need to remember that Sasuke killed Orichimaru when he was sick and bedridden. You cannot use the fact that he was able to kill him as a basis for his strength.
Its a tough call, I think Neji would defeat him in the first part of the series but after trainin with orochimaru ********

I think Sasuke would win in the end. Sasuke has more hatred and that fuels alot of his power.

I'm pretty sure sasuke's sharingan cant copy neji's byakugan.there is a slight chance that sasuke could defeat neji but it really is a matter of how you look at question and the facts.sorry if I'm not making any sense.
In asking this question, I think you should probably clarify if your referring to Sasuke before or after the Cursed Seal. There is a significant power difference there.
If what they said on episode 46 and 47 then neji should be able to beat sasuke i mean they said the sharingan was made from the byakugan long ago so my pick is Neji

the byakugan has 360 vision but has a blind spot.
and i believe that sauske would win because when gaara is taken away by kankuro and temari and sasuke was told that he already is at chuunin level. neji was the rookie last year which shows that he couldn't become chuunin back then. neji won't accept things that aren't proved such as naruto beating neji. he was like no that is not possible but he did win.
sasuke, doesn't want to accept it but does.
naruto beat neji and naruto doesn't have any specialties at that time.
Maybe sasuke would win becuse he has the cursed seal from Orochimaru and because he has sharingan too!
