Dragon Ball Z.. Without knowledge of the series?!
Question: I just saw the first Movie of the original DB series, and it looks a little "Childish", but i know Z isn't like that because of the action.
Now my question is:
Can i watch DBZ without having watched the first series? (i only watched the movies that cover till ep 18)

Yeah that's what I did when I was younger I watched the DBZ without watching dragonball. It only made vauge references to DB rarely

i haven't watched a single eps. of dragonball
but have wwatched the whole DBZ
You can definitely watch DBZ without seeing DB first, that's what I did, and I understood everything pretty well. There were just a few questions I had that I did find the answer to by watching some DB later. So with just very little general knowledge of what DB was about you will understand DBZ really well. Dragonball z was the first anime I ever watched, and I still love it today.
