Why does Shia die in Pita Ten?!

Question: I have watched all the episodes of Pita Ten, but of course, it leaves out a lot of information from the manga....Especially since there are only 26 episodes. So why does Shia die? In the anime it says that Shia vanishes but comes back then Misha vanishes but comes back.
