What happened to Deidara's other eye?!

No, his left eye's fine. But he trained that eye to counter against the Sharingan, because he wanted to stand up to Itachi. and he's got this binocular..monocular thing over it, so he can see far when he's flying high on his clay bird things lol =D
His other eye is completely fine. He actually trained that eye to overcome Itachi's signature ability: genjutsu. This is because Itachi was the one who defeated him and forced him into joining Akatsuki. ^_^
i think i read about it on wikipedia once. from what i remember, it's like built in binoculars or something...
His left eye is fine. He is just training it so that eye cant be efected by the Sharingan. Later on when he fights Sasuke he doesnt have the gray thing on his eye.
The others are right, he trained his eye to work against genjutsu, so he can fight Itachi, but used it against Sasuke.
