Vegeta or Goku from Dragonball Z?!

I like Goku. He can do just about anything he puts his mind to.

I don't know why but i've always been a Vegeta fan. I guess i'm the kind of person to cheer on the underdog, he's a beast.
It's really hard to choose. You're talking about the two main characters from perhaps the most successful anime of all time. Both have their strengths. Goku is mainly the favorite because he is the main character, and he always finds a way to come out on top despite his naievity. But most people like diversion, and the development of characters. That's why my pick is Vegeta. Throughout the entire course of the series, Vegeta changes from cold, heartless, and bitter, to a noble warrior, and a caring husband and father. He is easily the most diverse character in Dragon Ball Z. He is a smartass, a jerk, and always seems like he has a permanent case of hemmeroids, and that's what sets him apart from Goku, and everyone else. He shows the most emotion, and he is always the underdog in every situation. Both characters are the greatest, no doubt, niether would be as great without the other, but Vegeta is my pick.
Goku, this is easy. Dragonball surrounds itself around Goku and his family. Vegeta is great, but 97% of the time he will be 2nd best, against villains, or Goku. He eventually grows a backbone, and some love for those other than himself, but by no means is Vegeta equal to Goku. Amongst the Saiyans, he is the closest to Goku power level, thats all.
