FOR: Anime
most anime is best in subtitled japanese because when they are dubbed a lot of things are changed to reflect censoring laws and just somethings arent translated right. the subtitles are generally more in the spirit of what the actual dialouge is.

Inuyasha, Naruto, and Bleach are good in Japanese. Ghost in the Shell and Blood+ are better in English.
I'll be blunt they all are RoCkIn in Japanese...although death note and inu yasha are ok in English... i think it depends on who's dubbing the animes...4kids always suck...viz its ok...but they really lack emotion....funimation are usually the best dubs, my favs....
well english because u can understand it more but most of the anime are made in jap first

Deathnote: english just came out and lights voice is sorta annoying but L's sounds okay and so does matsuda's, but theres only two episodes out

hikaru no go stinks in english, but japanese is love

the japanese version is better and the characters sound better and their words is different than the english version. On Naruto, both version are good and InuYasha too.

english version: they say "spiritual pressure"
japanese version: they say "spirit force"
japanese dialect is always the best in anime, however the best dub anime is desert punk in my opinion
