WTF Questions about Bleach...?!

Question: this is to anyone who has seen past about episode 67 i think.

In Bleach, we see Rukia and Renji's past, where they live in the rukon district. But doesn't that mean they'er dead? In fact, doesn't that mean everyone in the Soul Society is dead??!!! Or are they just souls born in the Soul Society or something wierd like that?

And in a MORE confussing situation, if lets say they are dead, Renji says that thier friends died in the soul society. How can a dead soul die???!!!!

dang you like to make some extremely intresting/hard questions. hmm... i think they were born into the soul society. but about the part about their friends dying... i dont know lol... that part is kinda weird lol... that is true though... but i think that its better to just sit, watch and enjoy and try not to take it too seriously... lol.. its meant to be enjoyed. ^^ good question though

Dead People from the "real" world are sent to the Soul Society as souls. People who have done bad deeds are transforms in Hollows.

When a person dies in the Soul Society, he/she is reborn as a new person in the real world

Real World -> Soul Society -> Dead and reborn

Hueco Mundo as Hollows -> Can be go to society only by the blade of a shinigami.

Yes, Rukia and Renji are dead. Everyone besides Ichigo and Co. in Soul Society is dead.

As for how a soul can die?

Souls in Bleach are basically just more durable versions of flesh and blood (after all, how can a soul bleed the way they do in the show?). It mentioned that the outer districts in Soul Society are considerably more violent than the ones we see near the Seiratei. However, it seems spirits in Soul Society don't age, unless they have the spiritual powers needed to get hungry and become a Soul Reaper, so most wouldn't ever die of old age.

The exact mechanics of death haven't really been detailed. We know that someone who dies on Earth is brought to the Soul Society, and at least once it is said that spirits that die in Soul Soceity are reincarnated as people on Earth. However, there has to be more to it that that, as if that's all it was, there's be no reason for Soul Society spirits to fear death the way they do.

The best theory I've heard on this is that when a spirit dies in Soul Society, its energy is used to make up the very fabric of that realm (which we see Uryu Ishida start to tear apart when he removes the glove while fighting the 12th Captain), and that energy is what is used to make the souls of new babies here on Earth. With that being the case, your own identity would be eliminated when you die as a spirit, and thus you would cease to exist.

ok ...that part of the bleach is really confusing ... and besides if they are souls how can they grow up ??? 0.0
but i think they were human before and the they died because in bleach's movie ... that girl remmebers memories from when she was alive and the ichigo asks urahara (i think) that is it ok if a shinigami can remmeber things from when they were alive and the urahara says no it is very rare ...
so i think they were alive once maybe like 100 years ago ... and then they died and they came to soul socity and then when they die again in soul socity they go to the place where holows come from ... i cant remmeber its name ... :D

Everyone in soul society is dead. Problem is you cant tell how old anyone is by the time the Bleach story starts, (I'm still trying to figure out how old Hitsugaya was when he died- yes I know i cant spell). When you die, your soul when not hollow, goes to Soul Society. But you are sans family when they die so you create your own when you get there. Some go on to be shinigamis, some captains, some just stay living in the towns, so on and so forth. It's just like another side of life from earth.

I'm guessing that if a hollow which is a soul can die, then a soul in soul society can die as well. It wouldn't go anywhere else, but it can die. (Don't mean to give a spoiler) but when a certain captain is dead pinned to the side of a building, there are only gasps that he is dead, not at how can he be dead.

Life goes on
