Am I the only one a bit dissapointed about Bleach episode 145?!
Question: I know it showed us the Espada that will play an important role later, but since I am reading the manga as well, and I know the action that is about to come, I expected a bit more.

well the episodes follow the manga so if ur reading the manga dont expect any surprises but yes i was dissapointed i thought the espada would look cooler =/
they draw out the episodes so they have less content but there can be more episodes. being too fast paced means the anime will overtake the manga and there will be hundreds of fillers until the story catches up again.
Naturally, You have to expect that anime is usually more filler than thriller for the manga it follows. Like a normal fightscene in the manga would take perhaps a few chapters in that same book but would take maybe up to 3 episodes filled with recaps, same old copy and paste scenes from the older episodes, boring dialogue. Hey it's anime, not manga, but still you could appreciate the animation, though I didn't really like it after Rukia got saved by Ichi.
no but maybe you will find one day, its wasnt that impressive, i have to admit but just over look it
Maybe you were expecting too much ... not every anime title has GREAT episodes each and every time.
