I've read all the Pre-Crisis Superman abilities.Here's a list that there powers where Superman has while Majuub don't have it.
Vision: Superman possessed x-ray vision, allowing him to see through solid objects, as well as telescopic vision (seeing great, even interstellar distances) and microscopic vision (seeing small things, even subatomic particles). These powers could be used individually or in conjunction with one another. His eyes could also perceive the full electromagnetic spectrum including infrared and ultraviolet frequencies of radiation.
Heat Vision: Originally depicted as a by-product of his x-ray vision, Superman's heat vision allowed him to generate energy beams which could be used to melt or vaporize almost any substance.
Hearing: Superman could hear sound at almost any wavelength and at vast distances.
Super Breath: Superman's breath was capable of freezing objects (because his lungs were able to put air under tremendous pressure, thus super-cooling it) and generating hurricane-force winds. He could also survive without oxygen, allowing him to travel underwater or in space without breathing apparatus.
Mental Powers: Superman possessed genius-level intelligence and an eidetic memory. These enhanced mental capabilities were a direct result of his exposure to a yellow sun,. Superman also possessed the mental ability to screen out the enormous amount of information received by his enhanced senses and to focus on a single detail such as a particular voice or location.
Try not to tell me that Majuub didn't exceed light-speed.Almost every Z-fighters can create an after-image of themselves which this technique was only achieved by The Flash(Wally West),which can travel more faster than the speed of Pre-Crisis Superman.So,basically,Pre-Crisis Superman had the same speed as Majuub.

Only you don't see them travel through time because the Dragon Ball universe doesn't have any physic connection.
While all of these Superman powers seems to me that it is impossible for Uub to beat Superman,I know 1 technique where Superman will lose if Majuub use this technique.The technique that can change Superman into chocolate.
Since Majin Buu is a magical being,this is the technique that only he posessed it.After (he/she?) merged with Uub,it is shown that Uub can also used this technique,since even Pre-Crisis Superman is vulnerable to magic,so Majuub win this one.I think that Majuub can also survive in space since Majin Buu can survive without air.
