Is Bugs Bunny completely foreign to today's children?!

Question: Why are they eliminating the classic cartoons??

Answers: Why are they eliminating the classic cartoons??

On the rare occasion when Bugs is shown,
he is entirely home grown. It may be that they could not find a replacement for Mel Blank, the voice of Bugs, who died. Or the family of the creator may have withdrawn the rights, but I suspect the cheaper, less animated, cheaply licensed cartoons are dominating. It's about money. I though digital would take over but the license is still an issue.
I hope that answers the question, I too miss the old cartoons. I learned to love classical music watching them.

Although very funny, bugs bunny had a lot of racial overtones, that todays P. C. society won't stand for. I remember when the Turner networks had Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, but they were edited. It really sucked, because it wasn't the same.

i think so. Disney started to bring back mickey mouse n friends back with little kids (mickey mouse club house) and they are making bugs bunny video games but it's def not like it used to be

There is quite alot of adult stuff in Bugs Bunny like ciggerets(can't spell) and guns. It's not they wouldn't like it,it's just not PC.

though i am only a 19 year old , i grew up watching all the cartoons of the classic era , tom and jerry , mickey mouse and friends ( donald , goofey , chip and dale ), looney toons to name a few . the kids today are exposed to such a lot of stuff at a very tender age , you see kids as young as 7-8 year olds surfing the net , watching movies which were allowed to us only at around 15-16, all the while doing their stuff like studies and assignments . they get their high from these stuff ( high here means 'feel good' ) , so , unfotunately the classic cartoons have little appeal among kids today
