Aquaman vs batman who would win and why?!

Question: the king of the seven seas vs the dark knight no prep time

Answers: the king of the seven seas vs the dark knight no prep time

I'm going to say Aquaman, not just to be different, but because he really has a shot. Let me explain.

You say no prep time. Batman depends a lot on prep. His whole career is based on prep! What do you think he spent ten years doing between seeing his parents gunned down and going out as Batman? Prepping!

But if we have no prep, then it depends on innate (or always carried) resources. Batman is strong, fast and has mixed martial arts skills.

But Aquaman can do more than just talk to fish!!!!!

His body is adapted to living at the bottom of the ocean, for crying out loud! He is able to resist the pressure of thousands of pounds per square inch!

It hasn't been emphasized in the comic books very often (and has been all but totally ignored inthe animated tv shows) but Aquaman's muscles are downright super strong on the surface. They HAVE to be, in order for him to be able to move around normally on the ocean floor!

On top of that, since his body is able to resist the pressure, what can Batman do to hurt him...? Batman throws his best punch/kick combo. Aquaman: "What are you trying to do, tickle me...?"

Now, if Aquaman went crazy or turned evil, Batman would be able to regroups for planning and come back to defeat him in the second episode. But Aquaman has genuine super power, which Bruce Wayne does not.

batman cause of all his cool gadgets
he's a G

Of course Batman. He can fight on land and sea. Unlike Aquaman, he's restricted to the sea.

Of course batman he can be anywhere even in the sea with his gadgets can defeat aquaman and in land he has an even bigger advantage.

Batman hands down

Aquaman can talk to fish, Batman can talk to the U.S. Governement

Aquaman can only beat Batman if he gets him in the water but on land Batman would take him down.

Batman because he knows the stegnths and weeknesses of all the major DC heroes. He would take advantage of this and beat Aquaman.

Aquaman has by far the worst super abilities in the DCaverse. He can talk to fish. Woohoo.

Batman wins.

It would boil down to where the battle would take place.

I'm going with batman.

Realistically (a strange word to use in connection to two fantasy characters), Aquaman should have the advantage on land or sea; Aquaman is far stronger in either environment, and his telepathic control extends to all sea life, including sea gulls and a few other species of bird. In an aquatic contest, Aquaman should easily win, and on dry land Aquaman should win due to his superior strength, faster reaction time, and a body so inured to the pressure of great depths that he would have low grade invulnerability (impact injuries would have to be intense for him to even be slowed by them). I seriously doubt Batman carries much in his utility belt that could really harm Aquaman. However, Batman is by far the more popular character, so if you mean in a commercial medium (comics, television cartoons, newspaper strips, video games, etc.) any plot details would be slanted so Batman would emerge victorious.
